Correlative Conjunction

Correlative conjunction 

Correlative conjunction are the type of conjunction that used in sentences to combine two words or groups of words are different. Generally correlative conjunctions are not used to connect sentences. However, it is used to connect parts of words contained in the sentence.
Example of Correlative conjunction
both . . . and
The function of this conjunction is to connect or pairing 2 people, things, qualities, etc.
Ex : Sukamto can speak both English and Spanish very well.
We can see that the 'English' and 'Spanish' are equal and the same important element. 'both' complements the function of 'and'
not only . . . but also
The function of this conjunction is to add a person, things, qualities, etc. to a sentence who have a simillarities in certain things.
Ex : He gets the best score not only in TOEFL but also IELTS.
He was not only a bad person, but also cruel.
not only . . . but also
We use this to join parralel words
Ex : He is not only smart but also friendly and cool
The rain ruined not only the flower, but also the grass
either . . . or
The function of this conjunction is to show the choice between the two options.
Ex : I’ll either text or phone you tomorrow.
It's other you or the twins that have washed the dishes
as ...... as
Ex : She is as smart as her mother.
whether ........ or
Ex : Whether you win or lose the game, you have made your parents proud of you.
Just as ....... so
The function of this conjunction is  to connect two things with the same theme or have similarities
Ex : Just as Billy loves hiking so he enjoys travelling as well.
neither ..... nor
The function of this conjunction is to tell two things that are equally led to something that can not happen.
Ex : I have neither time nor money for that.
Neither you nor I have washed the dishes today
